This is basically how the Japanese tie their glass floats. I haven't quite figured out how they form the loop on the top. I have seen the loop made several different ways. I will get around to figuring it out on of these days. In the mean time this is one of several ways that I finish them off. This is a 4" authentic Japanese float with original 'river mouth' markings on it. The netting is made with Genuine pine tarred cord. I have a handful of these floats in stock but most are frosted and do not have markings on them. I sell the clear and marked floats for $45.00 and the frosted floats for $40.00
