Nautical Rope Wreaths

My wreaths are made with a single piece of 1/2" manila rope. They are approximately 2 1/2" - 3" thick with a diameter of approximately 12" - 13". The rope is plaited around itself 12 time. The two rope ends are then tucked inside of the plait to form the core of the wreath. I sell my wreaths for $40.00 plus taxes and shipping. Included with the purchase of one of my wreaths a sprig of fake holly. You can remove the fake holly and decorate your wreath with really holly, dried leave and/or flowers, pine boughs and cones, seashells, ribbons etc... for the different seasons. For a more nautical effect simply fasten a small wooden plaque that says welcome aboard, ahoy matey, etc... The safe work load for my wreaths is about 2500 lbs. That is to say that you can safely hang about 2500 lbs of decoration on one of my wreaths. Do note that hanging 2500 lbs off of anything is never a very safe thing to do.
