Cotton Turk's-head Bracelets
All of my bracelets are made
with a single piece of 1/8" braided cotton cord. They are machine washable.
My bracelets are not
pre-shrunk. They will therefore shrink a bit
when they get wet for the first time. Because my bracelets are made
with 100% cotton, they can be dyed if you wish to colour them. At
this point in time I do not
do any dying. You would have to arrange to do this yourself.
There is no limit to how big and wide Turk's-heads can be made. I
can custom make them wide enough to cover your arm from wrist to
shoulder or big enough to go around your waist. Note though, that as
a general rule, all of the work that I do gets exponentially less
efficiently to produce as the size is increased. Doubling the size
requires twice as much material but can take about 2 1/2 to 3 times
longer to produce.
At this point in time, I only stock two different styles of
Turk's-head bracelets. Common Turk's-heads and Herringbone
Turk's-heads. I carry each of these styles in three different widths
ranging from 1/2" to 1 1/4". All of the my bracelets are available in 20
different sizes starting at 6" and going up in 1/4" increments to
11".
My bracelets are like bangles. They do
not have clasps. To put them on, you simply slide
them over your hand. To figure out which size fits you best, you
need to figure out the widest part of your hand. To do this, make
your hand as narrow as you can and measure the widest part to the
nearest 1/4".

As you can see in the image above, my hand size is 8 3/4". I am
wearing a 8 3/4" bracelet. My bracelets are measured to a relatively
tight / stretched fit. I can squeeze into a 8 1/2" but if it got wet
and tightened, it would be very hard, if not impossible for me to
take it off.
